Engagement Model
IDEAS is the engagement methodology evolved by Expertus to address the ‘end to end training intervention’ need of any organization. This concept offers an approach that objectively starts off from ‘Skill Gap Analysis’ and ends with ‘Show Improvement’ in the skill sets identified and addressed by the training intervention. The IDEAS model is implemented for every training intervention that Expertus engages.
Identify Gaps In the Gap analysis stage, depth interviews, focus group discussions are conducted to assess the current standing point of the skill sets. Discussion of the assessment and sustenance tools to be used pre and post intervention happens here.
Develop Solutions Post gap analysis the concept logically moves on to the development/customization of suitable solutions. Here the content relatable by the target audience which simulates their work environment in the training program is designed and developed. Instructional Design (ID) methodology is used to design the content flow which involves steps like Audience Analysis, Info mapping, Task Analysis and Envisionment, Terminal & Enabling objectives identification etc.
Execute Solutions The planned modules/sessions are delivered as a instructor led training (ILT) program in a classroom where target participants are imparted learning using the various globally tested and proven tools of experiential learning.
Audit and Analysis To sustain learning, the IDEAS concept very rightly moves on to audit and analysis. Here we try to audit and assess the level of grasp, assimilation, retention and reproduction of the learning intervention. Various assessment tools, survey sheets, measurement templates, etc. are administered and used in this stage.
Show Improvement Organizations would want to have a clear measurement of the improvement in the skills sets addressed all along the various training interventions.
Accordingly a consolidated report is submitted to the HR/Management in the end that would detail the comparative growth analysis of the skills sets addressed and suggest the road ahead.
